ACTION PLUS, whose sound has been described as “both the best thing and the worst thing you’ve ever heard,” released two CDs and performed countless shows in the mid-’90s.
But in 1998 disaster struck: The band was accidentally locked inside a 5’ x 5’ storage locker by an overzealous security guard while unloading their equipment after a gig. They remained there until 2003, when the facility was demolished to make way for an expanded Happy Donuts parking lot.
Enjoy two sneak previews from Action Plus’s long-delayed third album: “Lucky Pink,” the best Las Vegas song that Dante never wrote, and “I Think He Went to Prague,” a sort of “My Old Flame” for the aughts.
